Our most popular in the Japanese range.
The serrated blade of the Shark makes it excellent for cutting flax or other stalky plants.
Works for both right and left handed.
Also known as "flax cutter" as it is very good for trimming harakeke or ti kouka (cabbage trees) or other stalky fibrous plants.
It is not a saw!
Handle is 21 cm long
Blade is 17 cm

These are a great tool for specific jobs and I wouldn't be without one. Useful for far more than just flax - hold vegetation in one hand and cut at the base with the shark in a single smooth action. It doesn't do woody stems and if you push it beyond its capacity you'll shorten its lifespan (the weak point is where the blade inserts into the handle). Also I suggest spraying fluro paint or tying some flagging tape on the handle because they aren't easy to see if you put down. And these are not a tool you want to leave lying about. Lastly, buy the decent quality Japanese ones like this, not the cheap knock offs.
